Pioneer Deh-p6000ub Support Question

Hi, I have Pioneer DEH-P6000UB installed in my corolla 2005. It is not working, I means one in a while it will work and start playing songs, but the moment i tough some key, or car start or somthing. it will stop working. Basically it does not work most of the time. only very rarely it will start by itself. I tried connecting my mobile to the usb to see if if have power in it. My mobile does not start charging. My understanding is if it had power, it should have started charging. Not sure what could be the issues, Can someone guide me though the debugging steps.I have already tried to open up my car dash board, to see any visual loose connections.

There are 2 powers for this stereo. The is a constant power (yellow wire) which holds the memory, then there is an ignition power (red wire) that turns the stereo on when you start the car. Some cars you need to run the red power wire to a fuse that only works when the car is turned on, for example power windows. Only run it to a fuse that is equal to the fuse on the back of the stereo ( more than likely 10a). Oh and btw check the fuse on the back of the stereo under the plug. If none of these work you have a bad stereo. Or you hooked up the wires wrong.

If it not works than

Their should be a fuse on the back of unit, then make sure black wire has good ground. Also make sure red and yellow wire have good power, if all is good you will need to send it in to have circuitry tested.
