How To Disable The Answering Machine

i wanted to turn of my answering machine permanently, how do i do it?

To disable the answering machine function on that unit, just press the button on the base unit that looks like a cassette tape.

You can also see page 34 of the User's Manual for detailed instructions and illustrations on how to disable this feature using the handset buttons as well.
