Why Envelopes Wrinkled Odidata C330dn Printer

Hello. I am an Oki Data helpdesk technician from Oki Data America's.

Wrinkled or creased envelopes usually indicate that air is getting into the envelopes as they move thru the printer. Please contact our technical support number at 1-800-654-3282. More information will be needed to determine the problem.

I called Okidata's support line about envelopes wrinkling when printed. They said that their printers will always wrinkle the #10 envelopes, which is the standard envelope size. He said that because those envelopes have a "slanted" flap they'll always wrinkle. When I asked him what to do to correct that, he said to buy envelopes with a straight flap. Those envelopes cost three times more than the standard #10 envelopes, so welcome to Okidata! Hard to believe, but true.
