My Camera All Of A Sudden Says Memory Card Locked, Slide To Write? How?

how do slide to unlock? there is nothing on the card that i can see, i have no idea, this is the first time that this has happened

According to the product specifications of your Nikon 9609, it uses a Secure Digital (SD) Card or Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) Card type of memory card. The device displays the memory card lock error because the card might be in "Write Protect" mode. This means that you cannot delete or save to this memory card unless you remove the write protect.

To disable the write protect of your memory card, just slide down the lock at the left side of the card. I have provided the images below for you.
