Vt595g Lcd Projector

i rplace the lamp for NEC Projector VT595G but its not working the switch of power and lamp indicaits but no display

there are several things that can cause the lamp not to light, and the clues to what stage is bad is the symptoms. These symptoms will include; why you changed the original lamp (it told you to do so, and you did it when this message first started or you waited until it quit working, or it went bad or exploded), what colors the LED indicators are and are they blinking, do you hear the fans turn on when you press the [power] button.

The reason for some of these questions is because if you let the lamp timer expire then it will turn the lamp indicator red and basically be dead. In this case, I believe all you have to do is to press the [power] button on the projector for over 5 seconds until it turns back on allowing you to find the lamp timer and clear it in the menus.

If the lamp exploded then sometimes a shard of glass will wedge into a fan and this will cause a shutdown. Shake the projector to listen for loose pieces inside.

If the old lamp just quit lighting and the new on does the same then the ballast circuit might be bad and a technician is required to prove that this is the issue.
