Lexmark S400 Series Black Ink Doesn't Print Properly

Lexmark S400 Series black ink doesn't print properly. I just replace the black ink cartridge and went through the alignment all colours print properly however the black prints in stripes with large area's missing. Just can't figure out what it could be?

Make sure that you're using genuine Lexmark cartridges and that the firmware of your printer is up to date. Just go to http://bit.ly/ghfW8H to download the firmware update.

Also, try to perform a maintenance on the cartridges. To do that, on the control panel of your printer, press on Setup > Maintenance > Deep Clean Printhead.
