Lenovo G575 Has A White Screen With Thin Horizontal Lines At The Top.

When I turn on the laptop all I get is a faint white screen with some thin horizontal lines at the top. Is this laptop toast?

In computer terms, white lines, dots and other strange black or white colors in the screen indicate dead pixels. This might be caused by several factors like worned parts of the screen. Unfortunately, there is not other solution for this but to replace the entire device. You can purchase Lenovo G575 at Amazon.com. These are the product links:
