Why Wont My Lenovo G575 Laptop Detect To Wireless Connection?

Trying to clean up my laptop..I think I have deleted a program....could this affect it??

To verify that the wireless capability is turned on, Hold down the function (Fn) key, then press F5. The wireless light on the front of the keyboard should light up when the wireless is turned on.
