Weirdest Problem Ever...remote Stops Working When Any Input Is Plugged

So...this TV works great... except when an input is plugged in. THe remote is fully functional, can navigate menus without problem. But as soon as I plug in an input, any input, it immediately beeps then the remote stops working, additionally, the navigation buttons in front also do not work. As soon as the input is unplugged... remote and buttons work again. Any ideas? thanks

Don't have a solid fix for you but you can obtain the user guide and a service manual via this link.
