Vertical Bars On Both Sides Of Screen

If they are black bars, it is because you are watching a standard definition channel on a high definition television. Your high definition channels should show up full screen. Hope that helps! You can also set your display to zoom or full screen and it will fill the screen but you will lose some of the top and bottom of your picture that way because it isn't displaying the way it is programmed to display the lower resolution pictures.
