Kitchenaid Microwave Heating Problem

Microwave KEMS308SSS00 no longer heats correctly. It will melt butter, but not pop popcorn. Problem happened suddenly. I suspect magnetron, capacitor, or HV diode. Can you help me narrow down the defective part.
