Press the [MENU] button.
Use the [Up/Down] buttons to select "PHONEBOOK".
Use the [Left/Right] buttons to select the contact you want to delete.
Press the [OK] button.
Press the [Yes] button to confirm the deletion.
The contact will be deleted from your Kenwood KDC-BT31.
Here are some additional things to keep in mind:
You can also delete all contacts at once by pressing the [MENU] button, selecting "PHONEBOOK", and then pressing the [Clear] button.

1. Access the radio settings: Turn on your car and navigate to the radio settings. This is typically done by pressing the "Menu" button or a similar button on the radio console.
2. Enter the contact management menu: Look for an option like "Phonebook," "Contacts," "Bluetooth", or "Pairing" in the radio settings menu. Different car models may have slightly different names for this menu.
3. Delete individual contacts: Once you are in the contact management menu, you should see a list of contacts programmed into the radio. Find the contact you want to delete and select it. Depending on your radio's interface, you may need to use buttons like "Up" and "Down" or a touch screen to navigate through the list.
4. Confirm deletion: After selecting the contact, there is typically an option to delete it. Confirm the deletion, and the contact will be removed from the radio's memory.
5. Repeat for other contacts: If there are multiple contacts to delete, repeat the process for each one until all unwanted contacts are removed.
6. Exit the menu: Once you have deleted all the contacts you want to remove, exit the contact management menu and return to the radio's main screen.
Remember that thse steps are general guidelines, and the exact process may differ depending on your car's make, model, and radio system.
