Have A New Yt42 Xls Scalps Grass So Bad Why Is There No Anti Scalp Wheels.

Although there is in my opinon a useless nose roller that does nothing unless your cutting at the 1" setting that would never be used. I have 30 min on the yt42xls before I shut it down i finished cutting with my old jhon deer . really sucks to spend good money fo a mower I can't use. You I'll ask fo a refund and go from there. YT42DXLSave owned 4 tractors.

I am going to install 2 deck mounted anti scalp wheels. Exactly what should have been installed at the time of production. most all other models run at least two deck mounted wheels. Why? Because it works. One center mounted Deck roller that is non adjustable, In my option is worthless as anti scalp device. you dont have to be a genius to see why.

Hi! There is indeed an anti-scalp wheel. The scalping may be caused by the blade set to a setting that is too low. If you really feel that the anti-scalp mechanism has not been placed into your tractor, you will have to contact the place where the tractor was bought as all units have one installed at the factory.
