Lamp

We replaced the bulb put on the cover and the lamp light is still flashing

If the set appears to be coming on when you press the power button, but then shuts down with the "lamp" indicator blinking then the ballast was probably damaged (this usually happens if a lamp explodes): http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-OEM-Hitachi-Lamp-Power-Unit-Ballast-100W-HA01462-/290567781722

If the set never attempts to turn on, the blinking indicator is always there, then the interlock switch thinks the door is not in place (there is a plastic piece on the door that must push the switch closed.
