The likely issue is that the CMOS battery has failed. It is usually a 2032 which is available everywhere. This is a youtube video from HP on changeing the battery.

Hope that helps. If so mark as helpful thanks.

If your HP dx2009 desktop computer is showing a "Battery Not Found" error and is unable to save changes in the CMOS, it likely means that the CMOS battery, which is responsible for powering the CMOS memory that stores basic system settings, has either run out of power or is malfunctioning. You can try the following steps to resolve the issue:

1. Replace the CMOS battery: Open up the computer case and locate the CMOS battery on the motherboard. It is usually a small silver or black coin cell battery. Replace it with a new one of the same type. Make sure to handle the battery carefully and observe the proper polarity when installing the new battery.

2. Reset CMOS settings: After replacing the CMOS battery, you may need to reset the BIOS/CMOS settings to their defaults. There may be a jumper on the motherboard that you can move to reset the CMOS or there might be an option in the BIOS setup to reset to default settings. Consult your computer's manual for information on how to do this.

3. Check for motherboard issues: If replacing the CMOS battery doesn't resolve the problem, there could be an issue with the motherboard preventing the CMOS from functioning correctly. In this case, it may be necessary to seek professional assistance to diagnose and repair the motherboard.

After performing these steps, the "Battery Not Found" error should be resolved, and your computer should be able to save changes in the CMOS.
