Compaq Presario Sr5410f Processor Upgrade

want to increase the speed of my computer for gaming. i've ordered 8gigs of memory. i'm on a budget. thanks.

I suspect the performance for any serious gaming will be less than blazing on this system. The CPU is only a dual core Pentium, not even a Core 2. You cannot exceed 4 GB of RAM on it. A hopped up video card would do better than almost anytghing but if all you have are PCI slots or AGP slots that will lag as well.

Basically here are your standard defaults:
