Hello Lakepoint,

Yes you can. The following is located on page 17 in the Owner's Manual for your device, titled 'Tips for print success'

To print using black ink only from a Windows Operating System

Open your printer software > click Set Preferences > On the Paper/Quality tab click Advanced > 'Printer features' > Go to dropdown menu 'Print in Grayscale' > select Black Ink Only
