How To Get The Fax Working
When running the FAX test all items PASS except the Fax Line Condition Test, which failed and shows a comment "your fax line has a weak signal". I am using the identical setup that I used on my Photosmart C7280, on which the fax worked flawlessly. Does the fact that the 8600 being wireless have any bearing on the difference in fax operation from the 7280? Until now I have not needed to use a filter in the setup. Everything else on the new printer seems to be working perfectly well, including the wireless feature.
