Projector Won't Display On Whiteboard

Hi - we have installed a 3LCD to replace an existing projector and it doesn't seem to be picking up the signal. The cables are all connected as usual. I have an HP and pushed function and f4 and chose the two screens. The auto connection is on computer 2 but we still have a blue screen? Help gladly accepted.Regards Lindy Haliburton

Set your computer's resolution to match the projector resolution.

First, ensure that your projector is set to its optimal resolution by checking the projector's manual for the optimal resolution and resetting the projector if necessary. The instructions may indicate that resolutions other than the optimal one are acceptable, but keep the resolution at the optimal setting.

To check your computer's resolution

  1. Right-press on your desktop.
  2. Select Properties.
  3. Press the Settings tab.
  4. Move the Screen resolution slider to the pixel setting that matches your projector's resolution.
  5. Press Apply. Then press OK.
  6. Restart your computer, if required.
