My Reciever

When I try to put the reciever on auxiliary it says V.A/:pod no conected I'm trying to hok my TV up to the reciever so I can use My headphones. how can I get the desplay to say aux again. Also how can I get the remote lock off? when I try to use the remote the desplay says remote lock on.
