Please note there are three versions of your model HP Compaq dx6120. And your model will use a VISTA driver as Windows 7 is built on the vista core. Okay? That said I'll provide information below about all three versions of your model. Be sure to choose the right one.

If you can’t find the right Windows XP drivers manually I would recommend just getting a software program that can do it for you. There is a program I use which will find drivers for just about all hardware devices. The best part is it takes a snapshot of your system specifications and matches the right driver to go with it.
