Cannon Pixma Printer Mg2520 False Paper Jam??

my cannon pixma mg2520 which i have only had for about 5 months and printed maybe 40 pages out of says there is a paper jam.. acts like it is printing grabs the paper but doesnt pull it through to be printed on, then it says paper jam and the orange lights flash...i've tried shaking it upside down and an air can.. but still nothing..it does say it needs more black ink.. is it because there is no black ink?

1. Paper jams are often elusive. See the tips at http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000980.htm.

2. If your printer tells you it needs more black ink, then you should probably replace the black ink. Printers typically can't print at all if a aprticular color ink is lacking.
