The Feeder Feet Won't Come Back Up!

When I put my machine back into sew mode, the feeder feet don't come back up, they stay down even with the plate on my machine. Does anyone know how to pop the feet back up? I tried the lever that you see when you take the embroidery/or sewing unit off of the machine. When I move that lever it does not move the feet at all
