Scan Issue

My scan was working great and all of a sudden it is not working. I have checked the driver and it says it is installed. I can still print and copy so I don't think it is a connection problem. I do not have the control center icon on the bottom toolbar near my clock. When I put the document in the machine and go through my scan steps it says it is connecting to PC but then it just doesn't do anything.

Try to reinstall the driver software of your Brother MFC 6490CW printer/scanner. Some driver files may be corrupted or not properly installed. You can download the latest and compatible driver software here:
