How do I enable TPM in ASUS BIOS?

As for the TPM 2.0 chip, you can check whether this is enabled by pressing the Windows key + R to open Run, and typing tpm.msc. Press enter, and a window should pop up saying if the TPM chip is enabled or not. If it's not, then this might also be turned off on your motherboard as well.

How do I enable TPM in BIOS?

From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Server Security. Select Trusted Platform Module Options and press the Enter key. Select Enabled to enable the TPM and BIOS secure startup. The TPM is fully functional in this mode.

Do motherboards come with TPM?

TPM comes with a lot of Enterprise/server motherboards, my HP Elitebook has one built in and comes as standard. TPM has been sold more to business's and governments as a way to secure their data easily hence its more prevalent in enterprise settings.

Can you add TPM?

If you built your own PC, you may able to add a TPM chip to it. Search for a TPM chip that's sold as an add-on module. You'll need one that supports the exact motherboard inside your PC. Laptops and desktop PCs you buy off the shelf generally have a TPM chip that's soldered-permanently attached-to the motherboard.

What does clearing the TPM do?

Clearing the TPM resets it to an unowned state. After you clear the TPM, the Windows 10 operating system will automatically re-initialize it and take ownership again. Clearing the TPM can result in data loss
