I Dropped My Asus Q400a Notebook
I installed a new screen.Only the backlight comes on.I connected to my desktop monitor and it comes on.What can I do to fix it?

Either you purchased the wrong screen or you didn't insall it right. Check to make sure the cable/cables are securely connected to the screen. Also check the model number on the new screen to make sure it exactly matches the old one. There's also a possibility that the screen you purchased is defective.

You probably have a poor connection on the display panel ribbon connectors.
