If you are having a problem with the keyboard, have you tried doing a factory reset? Make sure before you do this that you save all your important things as everything will be erased and back to factory programs.
Once you do this and you are still having problems, sounds like you will have to send the unit in for service.

There is no other solution for keyboard problem of your Asus K40IJ laptop but to replace the entire keyboard with a brand new one. You can purchase a replacement keyboard from the following online stores.
