Purchased this right before Christmas from Best Buy for $379.99. Looked at various models and this TV appeared to give the best bang for the buck. It is a 1080P tv @ 60hz.It has more connection options compared to other brands in this same price range. It has 2 HDMI, a shared composite/component, PC In, USB, and unlike other models has both Digital Audio out AND Analog Audio out.
Another factor was that the audio from the TV, although not stereo system quality, is sufficient for normal TV viewing. When more is needed, the audio outputs are available which is nice.
Upon getting this TV set up, I have to say the picture is amazing. Just as good as any other brand that I saw at the store. I set this up to receive over the air channels (some in HD) with the cable box going through the AV inputs to receive standard definition cable. The HD over the air is super and surprisingly the standard definition is pretty good as well (although dependent on the channel).
So far I am pleased with the TV and I will see long term how this holds up.
