Getting Started Getting Started Step 1: Preparing a Power Source Inserting the battery 1 Slide and lift the battery compartment lid. Note Do not use manganese battery for a certain period of time. Please refer to step 3 in "Step 2: Setting the Clock" on page 15 to set the date and time. 2 Insert one LR03 (size AAA) alkaline battery with correct polarity, and close the lid. 11GB Clock setting display appears and the year section flashes when you insert battery for the first time, or when you insert battery after the IC recorder has been without battery for this IC recorder.
