The LAN Port is Auto-MDI/MDIX. You can insert either a straight-through or a crossover Ethernet cable in this port in order to connect the DWL-G710 to its original factory default settings. LAN: A steady green light indicates a good Ethernet connection. WLAN: A steady green light indicates a good wireless connection. A blinking light indicates that the DWL-G710 is receiving/transmitting from/to a power source.
