When you replace your radiator pressure cap, a GM cap is a 15 psi (105 kPa) pressure-type cap andmust be tightly installed to prevent coolant loss and possible engine damage from overheating. See "Normal Maintenance Replacement Parts" in the Index. 0-LY I NOTICE: Your radiator cap is recommended. Be sure the arrows the cap on line up with the overflow tube on the radiator filler neck.
