Vehicle Care 9-5 Hood To open the hood: 1. It is located under the front edge of the grille near the center. Before closing the hood, be sure all the filler caps are on it firmly. Pull the hood release lever with this symbol on properly. Then pull the hood down and close it . Then go to the front of the instrument panel. 2. The lever is located inside the vehicle on the lower left side of the vehicle and find the secondary hood release lever. Push the release lever up and raise the hood.
