Why Can't I Send Email Using My Web Hosting Email Account?

I'm unable to send email messages using my web hosting account. Keep getting the message "Unable to Send Message". I also can't save the message either. Keep getting the message "Unable to save message". The last time I was able to send a message was on June 17th. Please assist me!!!! I tried using the Yahoo Mail Quick Fix tool. It responded back saying it didn't see a problem. Not sure if it was checking my yahoo email account or my web hosting email account.
