Unfortunately, your identifying information are required in your Yahoo password recovery. These information include phone number, alternate email address, birth date, security question and other information that verifies your identity. You may start recovering your lost password by visiting the sign-in page of Yahoo here - https://login.yahoo.com/config/login?.src=fpctx&.intl=us&.done=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.yahoo.com%2F

Click the "I can't access my account" link
Choose from "have a problem with my password", "I forgot my Yahoo! ID" or "My account may have been compromised" which is applicable to your case

The required information to recover your Yahoo account are the following:

Alternate Email Address
Birthday
Country of Residence
Postal Code

Follow the rest of the steps, you may reset your password via mobile or alternate email address.

You can recover your password with the account recover wizard. You'll need to provide an alternative email address (or give an answer to the security question.)
