Controller Board For Gbs307pdb7 Oven

I ordered and received a new controller board for my Whirlpool Oven Model # GBS307PDB7.  Upon opening the package I found a 2nd part included.  It is a Supressor Board #4451985.My oven does not have this part on it currently.   Am I to add this part to the terminal block to complete the controller board installation?Does this part need to be installed or is it an optional safety kind of thing.  There is no mention of the need for this suppressor board to be installed with the new controller board on any of the paperwork / installation instructions that came with the controller.Thank You in advance
