Remote Start Not Available

I have a 2000 honda cr-v and I have the viper 5904 installed. i am trying to enable remote start but when I do follow the manual, the lights flash 7 times which means that i have to put it in MTS. I have tried putting it in MTS but it still flashes 7 times. How can I enable it?
