Belt Tension Adjustment. When Pto Engaged Belts Smoke.

Place the PTO lever in the "Off" position and lower the mower deck as far as possible. Loosen the nut that holds the blade engagement rod in place. You can now shift the opposite end of the blade engagement rod slightly forward where it hooks into the adjustment slot.
