Won't Log On

My PC was working fine I turned it off and turned it back on a while later and now it will start up but just before getting to the log on part it just leaves me with a black screen with my mouse cusor on it

Hi there mate, if it enteres in the windows part seems that the disk is fine i suposed , what you can try it's log in in safe mode pressing F8 in the beginning of the turn on of the computer. Then try to run a restore system for previouse day when that happens, if it persists i don't know more ways than go to a store to fix it.
