Laptop Wont Turn On

power led lights up , laptop turns on for 5 seconds then switches off , screen blank all way through

I believe that this is related to the battery of your Toshiba Satellite L500. Obviously, your computer cannot get enough power from the battery that is why it shuts itself down automatically. Please check the battery if it is working properly and make sure that it has enough charge.
