Turning On Backlight

How do I turn on the backlight on a Toshiba a355-s6998e keyboard

The keyboard backlight can be enabled and disabled via the key combination "Fn + Y" within the operating system.

Your computer comes with the mode keyboard backlight enabled (timer function). To change the mode, hold the "Fn" key and switch with "Y" key through the existing modes. To select the preferred keyboard backlight mode, release both keys.
