Not Working...

My toshiba desktop external hard drive, (PH3100-1EXB) was last used two months ago and worked perfectly. I downloaded some files from a Mac that was being moved. The hard drive was disconnected, and stored in a safe place since then. Today I needed it, got it out, plugged it in and plugged it into the Mac and...nothing happens, EXCEPT a little white indicator light on the side flashes at 1 second intervals. No noise from inside, no icon on the desktop, no nothing. I tried two different power cables, the same result. I tried three different USB cables, the same result. Any ideas?

It sounds like the enclosure may be broken. If you can find out how to remove the hard drive from it, you can buy a new hard drive enclosure.
