Press 1234 on remote.. if that doesnt work try pressing 0000 (four zeros) 2nd one worked with mine.
And another suggestion is to read the owner manual to see if the set has a lock out feature that stops the remote from doing any functions.

The Channels On My Toshiba Tv 32sl41ou Are Locked. When You View The Locked Page
