Unreasonably Low Sound Quality
I got a bad quality recording from my recorder, is this normal? I tried cleaning and etc. but it persisted as it is

It's probably normal. Sony has some suggestions for improving the sound under Troubleshooting at https://www.manualslib.com/manual/240244/Sony-M-850v-Operating-Instructions-Primary-Manual.html?term=troubleshooting [last column], which you may want to consider.
