New Bulb Replaced, Now Tv Goes To Standby Every 13-15 Minutes And Then Turns Bac

I recently replaced the bulb (XL2000) in my Sony KF60XBR800 and now the tv shuts down and goes to standby every 13-15 minutes and then turns back on. I checked the fan and it is working properly.

Two things, the lamp, where did you buy it? There are hundreds of places that sell cheap ones on the web and these bulbs are factory seconds. I have seen many people who had to send a lamp back and it took over two replacements to find one that worked correctly. Secondly, will the TV ever stop trying and go into shutdown. Then the LED indicator should blink an error message t help determine where the failure was registered.

I did purchase the bulb on the web. Where do you suggest I purchase one?

The LED indicator blinks continuously on "standby" until the TV turns back on again, usually after a minute or two.
