Don't forget to clean out the fans to keep the temp lower and you must have over 4" space around rear cabinet for circulation.

To replace it requires removal of the optical engine to get to the fuse mounted on the lamp cage, and the new fuse is different than the old one, so it mounts differently. This is a job not recommended for novices,

You might be able to do this yourself. Step one, unplug and remove back. Two) remove metal backing plate and exhaust fan. Three) unseat the optical engine by loosening the two screws (long Phillips screwdriver and a flash light needed) located on top area left and right side of engine. Four) disconnect thermal fuse plug and pull lamp guide bracket to access old fuse assembly. The fuse assembly has a long wire harness attached, simply remove old one and pay attention to routing of the wire assembly. Five) install new fuse on the lamp guide bracket, there is a holder that the fuse fits into (new style), remount the guide and re-rout the wires to be able to hook back to the plug. Six clean dust and reassemble. Good luck
