Kdf-50e3000 Blinking 9 Times

I know it's the fan, I cleaned it out and after it didn't work I took it to a repair man. He told me that I had a cheap lamp and needed a new one so I bought a $90 lamp and I plug into my TV and the fan still will not turn! What do I do?

Honestly, it's really not worth repairing. It would be cheaper to buy a new TV. Rear-projection TVs are being given away because no one wants them anymore.
