purchase the Sony lamp XL-2500 after cooled off and power unplug from AC socket, remover the lamp door assembly (right side of TV). pulling on the two hooks and then the center lever the door will come off. Then press the lever on the lamp housing towards the handle to release the lamp. The lamp swings out, right side first.
Reverse steps to install, When lamp is aging the screen shows it's time to replace. click on this option and follow steps to reset this timer. instructions start on page 42 of owners manual and include pictures for easier to follow steps.
