My Tv Screen Is Completely Red But I Can See The Pic Thru The Red

if you see lines across the screen at a slight tilt and equally spaced then you red is on full blast. This problem could be either the picture tube or the driver circuit. Sometimes you can give the front on the tube a sharp rap with the heal of your hand and if it's the tube sometimes the short could be jarred free. If not a technician will be needed to determine what is causing this.
If the picture is just too red, (no lines) then this could be the set up data in the memory chip has been corrupted.
