How To Set The Year, Time, Date For The Icd Px312. The Manual Is Confusing

1)  Hold down DISP key until the voice recorder beeps and you see "Add/Overwrite"

2)  Press >>|+ key 10 times until you see "Detail Menu", then hit "Enter"

3)  Press >>|+ key 8 times until you see "Date&Time", then hit "Enter"

4)  Now choose "Manual" (then "Enter") -or- "Auto(Synchronizing)" (then "Enter").
