Front Panel Won't Open

I just bought unit, plugged it in, front panel opened and closed 3 times. Then I clicked Open so I could load discs, and it says PLEASE WAIT. Nothing happens. Any ideas?

Hi! Since it is new, I suggest returning it to the shop. It may be that during the first cycles something got stuck in the gears that moves the panel. Opening the device to remove the debris might void the warranty.
